Luxel V-6 CTP

Available in manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic the Luxel V-6 CTP platesetter provides customers with the competitive edge in high quality CTP production. Benefiting from the latest violet imaging technology, the system produces consistent high quality plates whilst maintaining a low cost of ownership. Achieving up to 20 punched B2 plates per hour at 2400dpi, the system will support peak demand with ease.

Features

Compatible with most B2 press sizes

Suitable for high quality commercial printers and trade shops, the violet Luxel V-6 CTP accommodates a wide range of plate sizes. With a maximum plate size of 765mm x 686mm x 0.3mm, the Luxel V-6 CTP is compatible with most B2 presses. In addition, the smallest size of 320mm x 290mm x 0.15mm (see specification) further extends the systems flexibility. Plates can either be punched within the platesetter or accurately registered for offline punching solutions. The systems ability to image both landscape and portrait allows users to produce plates for sheet and web presses.

Highly productive

The Luxel V-6 CTP delivers up to 20 punched B2 plates per hour at 2400dpi and 35 at 1200dpi. Available in manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic the platesetter will support the most demanding of production environments.

Easy to use, service and maintain

An innovative operator interface available on the RIP PC or optional platesetter control panel features icons and graphics for quick and easy machine operation and maintenance. The maintenance and serviceability of the system has also been designed for use with remote diagnostics.

Exceptional reliability and trouble-free operation

Fujifilm's engineers designed the Luxel V-6 CTP to be a highly reliable plate production system. Built using many proven elements from other Luxel V systems, it easily copes with long shifts. Machines are manufactured to ISO accredited standards and thoroughly tested ensuring that they consistently meet the high standards that Fujifilm have set and customers expect.

Low cost of ownership

A significant benefit enjoyed by Luxel V-6 CTP users is the low cost of ownership. The system's use of a highly reliable single low cost violet laser diode (average imaging life is 5000 hrs) enables high levels of plate production without incurring the expense of maintaining 32 or 64 independent thermal laser diodes. In addition, the use of Brillia LP-NV means that systems are kept in production for up to 8 weeks without down time for processor cleaning.

Integrated, cost-effective, high-quality CTP solution

The Luxel V-6 CTP platesetter is complemented by Fujifilm’s violet photopolymer plate, Brillia LP-NV and the Fuji Rampage Open Workflow digital workflow suite of software solutions. Manufactured with reliability, quality and speed as its major benefits, Luxel V-6 CTP together with LP-NV and Fuji Rampage will form a powerful combination for printers looking for cost-effective, high-quality plate production.

Space-saving front loading

In its manual and semi-automatic configurations, the unique space saving front loading reduces footprint, eliminating the need for the typical front feed table.

Modular and scaleable

The complete system can be configured to meet the current demands of your business. Variables such as the degree of automation, full digital workflow or basic RIP can all be tailored to your specific requirements. Over time, as your business evolves, so to can your investment with Fujifilm.

High quality imaging

The Luxel V-6 CTP has a composite material internal drum delivering excellent image accuracy, repeatability and registration. This coupled with Fujifilm's violet laser diode optics assembly ensures the highest imaging performance is achieved. Eight imaging resolutions are available, from 1200 to 3657dpi allowing users to output at a quality up to 20 micron FM.
