Luxel T-6000CTP II
The Luxel T-6000CTP II is a B2 format, external drum thermal platesetter
capable of producing up to 17 B2 press-ready plates per hour in either manual or
fully automatic mode.

Compatible with most B2
press formats for maximum flexibility
With a maximum plate size of 830mm x 645mm x 0.3mm, the Luxel T-6000CTP II is
compatible with most B2 presses. Integrated punching enables the production of
press-ready plates for most B2 commercial sheetfed presses. Custom punches are
available, as are a range of offline transfer punches to meet all formats.

Four configurations exist with the Luxel T-6000CTP II. In its most basic form,
the platesetter will sit alongside the processor requiring both manual load and
unload. A low cost upgrade can bridge the gap between platesetter and processor
providing online processing with a reduction in manual intervention. If full
automation is required, the 100 plate single autoloader (one plate size at any
time) will significantly improve workflow efficiencies enabling unattended
operation for an entire shift. Should your business dictate that several plate
sizes are to be available at any one time, then the multi-cassette autoloader
will meet your needs. With 3 cassettes online (3 x 100 plates), the system can
automatically select from one of three plate sizes.
Easy to use, service and
maintain
The requirement for safelight facilities no longer exists with the Luxel
T-6000CTP II. Used in conjunction with Fujifilm's thermal plates, you can
confidently work in daylight for extended periods. Benefiting from 32
independent laser diodes, production is maintained should one of the diodes
fail. Replacement of the defective diode is a quick task for the trained
engineer, unlike some other thermal systems where the complete imaging head
could require replacement.
High speed production of
B2 press-ready plates at up to 17 B2 plates an hour (at 2400dpi)
Utilising some of the latest thermal imaging technology, the Luxel T-6000CTP II
produces up to 17 B2 plates per hour at 2400dpi. Benefiting from a
high-precision plate clamping and automated balancing system, the drum is able
to rotate at up to 1000rpm. (Productivity is dependent on the sensitivity of the
plate).
Optimised for high quality
plate production with the Brillia thermal CTP plates
The Luxel T-6000CTP II has been optimised for use with Brillia thermal CTP
plates. The high sensitivity of the plates allows the platesetter to image at
its fastest speed of 1000rpm.
With CTP so close to the
press, you can't afford to take risks.
Launched in 2000, the system has established an excellent reputation for quality
and reliability. With various automated options now available, the system
continues to meet customer expectations and is the foundation for many print
production facilities.
