MultiGrain plate technology

Like our conventional PS plates, Fujifilm thermal and photopolymer CTP plates
use an aluminium base coated with our patented MultiGrain print layer, renowned
for its outstanding performance and tonal characteristics.

Exceptional dot resolution
and easily-maintained ink/water balance

The plate surface has a complex structure that combines three elements: primary
grains, honeycomb grains and micropores. This unbeatable combination delivers
rich tonal values, exceptional dot resolution from highlights to shadows, an
easily-maintained ink/water balance and long print runs, yet the plates are no
more difficult to make than conventional ones.

Batch-to-batch consistency
gives repeatable, predictable results

All Brillia plates are manufactured to an extremely high standard ensuring
consistent high quality and a long shelf life.

High sensitivity plates for
maximum platesetter productivity

LH-PIE plates are amongst the most sensitive plates on the market at 140mJ/cm².
Higher sensitivity gives a greater chance of achieving maximum platesetter
productivity. Alternatively, it can allow a reduction in laser power to prolong
laser life.

UV ink compatibility without
the need for baking

Both LP-NV violet photopolymer and LH-PIE thermal plates are the first of their
kind to work with UV inks on medium print runs without the need for baking.
